Piloting
From your arrival, once installed aboard we explain you the functioning of the boat. The navigation lesson allows you to the boating. That is the instant to ask all your questions if you still have it! …
Theoretical and practical introduction help you to control quickly your boat and the essential rules of navigation; then, we delay you a valid licence for the whole time of your stay.

Navigation on Blavet, locks
The navigation is restricted in 8km / h; it avoids the back water which harm riversides.
You will pass fishers, canoes, other boats among which some moored... We recommend you to slow down to bother nobody and to sail quietly.

In Brittany, the passage of locks is free, however, you will  have to follow instructions of the lock keeper who must sometimes manage several locks: it is possible that you have to wait for his return if he left accompany another boat...

Timetable of locking
Locks are open every day
From april to june 10th and from sept 1rst to sept 12th  : 9h00 to 12h30 and 13h30 to 18h45
From june 11th to august 31th : 9h00 to 12h30 and 13h30 to 19h15

Navigation for a leisurely journey :
4 or 5 hours of navigation per day. Don't forget to dawdle!

Activities
Do you enjoy the place? You can stop wherever you want without to pay. A lot of discoveries when out of the boat : swimmig, walking, biking for exploring the country all around the river or to go shopping,  every that is possible. If fishing attracts you, you must have a licence, (about 30€ for a holiday card).

Idleness on the sundeck
Very appreciated place, near the cokpit, the sundeck allows you to use entirely the so nice environment of the valley.
